Barom Yu is a bboy who started to gain attention from the online community because of his excellent dancing skills. His Youtube channel, bboybyu, garnered millions of views and thousands of followers. In order to pursue his dream to dance, he moved from Sydney, Australia to Korea. He trained under Yedang Entertainment, one of the top Korean agencies in the country. After almost two years of hard work, he debuted on July 2012 in a 6-member idol group, C-CLOWN.

Barom Yu’s fans are called SALTS (Super Amazing Loving Team).
He was born on September 6, 1990. He is a Virgo.
He is a Korean but was born and raised in Sydney, Australia.
He lived in Wollongong before he moved to Sydney.
One time when Barom was in primary school, he encountered a stray dog on the street, and doing as told not to make any harsh movement, he stayed frozen in position next to the dog for an hour.The owner got the dog and didn’t even apologize.
He took voice lessons with IM Jaebum before.
He hardly sees female trainees affiliated with Yedang Entertainment like members of Rania and Chi Chi.
During pre-debut days, he doesn’t have to share a dorm room with his members but they are all in the same building (separate from YD Entertainment’s main building).
He was immediately introduced to his co-trainees as their leader when he got accepted in Yedang Entertainment.
When Barom was auditioning, the other Yedang Entertainment trainees were watching him.
Barom’s name was pronounced as “Ba-room” in elementary school but he changed it during middle school.

He moved to Korea when he was 18 to pursue his dreams.

When asked what his phobias were, he answered that he doesn’t like darkness. He likes sleeping with lights on.
Barom’s first interview was with Hellokpop on November, 16, 2011 in Sydney.
Barom looks up to Park Jaebum. He inspired him especially with how Jaebum adjusted to Korea.
Fans of Barom thinks he resembles artists like Se7en, Yonghwa, Baro, etc.
The letter K on Barom’s Mac is broken that’s why when he uses it, it’s always capitalized.
Barom’s dreams involve “composing with the Japanese hiphop musician Nujabes to choreographing for a dance team or an art school”.
Barom hates needles.
In the past, Barom’s mom saw him dancing alone. This made her cry.

When Barom moved to Korea, he was surprised to see an old type of toilet (the ground one). He found it interesting.
The first thing that Barom must do when he goes to Australia is to eat steak.
The members say Rome is the mother of the group because he would say harsh things to the members to keep them on their feet.
Rome wants to have Maru’s manly style despite his young age.
T.K told Rome to stop growing so handsome.
Rome is apologetic to his mom because he could not get anything to celebrate for her birthday because he was in Korea.
Rome went to a public bath & someone scrubbed his back. He thought he’s mistaken for someone else but turns out he’s at the scrubbing area.
Rome’s mother recognized his talent in dancing and encouraged him to go to Korea and live there to pursue his dreams.
When articles came out about Rome’s resemblance with Se7en, he read hateful comments against him. It made him self-conscious.
Rome likes girl when she trips.
Rome was the MVP’s GURUPOP show on episode 12.
Rome leader’s style: He lets the boys have some fun time but during practice, he becomes scary because he doesn’t want them to suffer later.
